The default landing zone. Both sit on the metro, both have dense street level retail, and both let a new arrival function without a car from day one. JLT is generally cheaper and less polished; the Marina has the promenade and the beach next door.
Business Bay
Central, well connected to the main business corridor, and cheaper than Downtown for a similar location. Building quality varies more here than almost anywhere else, so inspect the specific tower.
JVC and Arjan
The value end. More floor area per dirham, quieter, and increasingly well served by supermarkets and clinics, at the cost of car dependence and an unfinished streetscape in parts.
